Welcome to Ananda Yatra. By booking any tour package with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Ananda Yatra

Ananda Yatra is a senior citizen-friendly tour and travel service specializing in curated package tours within the Dooars and Darjeeling regions of West Bengal. Our tours are designed and managed by experienced senior citizens with the objective of providing safe, comfortable, and enjoyable travel experiences.

2. Booking Confirmation

A tour booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the prescribed advance payment.

Ananda Yatra reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking if the required payments are not received within the stipulated time.

3. Payment Schedule

The tour cost shall be payable as follows:

Failure to make payments within the prescribed schedule may result in cancellation of the booking without further notice.

4. Mode of Payment

Payments may be made through:

• Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
• Cheque
• Demand Draft
• Any other mode specifically approved by Ananda Yatra

Ananda Yatra does not currently accept online payments through its website.

5. Cancellation Policy

If a guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges.

6. Hotel and Homestay Charges

Ananda Yatra works with selected hotels, resorts, and homestays that we know and trust.

In the event that accommodation providers impose their own cancellation charges, such charges shall be deducted from any refundable amount payable to the guest.

7. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions

The specific inclusions and exclusions of each package shall be clearly mentioned in the respective tour itinerary.

Unless specifically stated, the following are generally not included:

• Train tickets
• Bus tickets
• Air tickets
• Personal expenses
• Laundry charges
• Medical expenses
• Travel insurance
• Entry fees to attractions (unless mentioned)
• Any expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances

8. Changes in Itinerary

Ananda Yatra reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, vehicle, sightseeing schedule, or travel arrangements due to:

• Weather conditions
• Road conditions
• Government regulations
• Natural calamities
• Political disturbances
• Operational requirements
• Any circumstances beyond our control

Every effort will be made to provide suitable alternatives.

9. Health and Medical Responsibility

As our tours are specially designed for senior citizens, guests are requested to disclose any significant medical condition that may affect travel.

Guests must carry:

• Required medications
• Prescriptions
• Medical records (if necessary)

Ananda Yatra shall not be held responsible for any medical emergencies, illness, injury, or health complications occurring during the tour.

10. Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for carrying valid identification documents required during travel and hotel check-in.

Failure to produce required identification may result in denial of services by hotels or authorities, for which Ananda Yatra shall not be responsible.

11. Limitation of Liability

Ananda Yatra acts as a tour organizer and facilitator.

We shall not be liable for:

• Delays or cancellations caused by weather, strikes, transport disruptions, or government actions
• Loss of baggage or personal belongings
• Injury, illness, accident, or death
• Acts or omissions of hotels, homestays, transport providers, or other third-party service providers
• Additional expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances

12. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward fellow travelers, hotel staff, drivers, guides, and local residents.

Ananda Yatra reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or unlawful. No refund shall be provided in such cases.

13. Force Majeure

Ananda Yatra shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Floods
• Landslides
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Government restrictions
• Civil unrest
• Transportation disruptions

14. Photography and Promotional Use

Photographs and videos taken during tours may be used by Ananda Yatra for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes unless a participant specifically requests otherwise in writing.

15. Disputes and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Bengal, India.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour with Ananda Yatra, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
