At Ananda Yatra, we strive to provide comfortable, well-organized, and enjoyable travel experiences for our guests. Since tour arrangements involve advance commitments with hotels, homestays, transportation providers, and other service partners, cancellation charges may apply when a booking is cancelled.

By booking a tour with Ananda Yatra, you agree to the following Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the prescribed advance payment.

The applicable payment schedule is:

• 30% of the total package cost at the time of booking
• 40% of the total package cost 30 days prior to departure
• Remaining 30% of the total package cost 7 days prior to departure

2. Cancellation by Guest

If a guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, cancellation charges will be applied based on the date on which the written cancellation request is received by Ananda Yatra.

Cancellation Charges

The balance amount, if any, shall be refunded after deduction of applicable cancellation charges.

3. Cancellation Request Procedure

All cancellation requests must be submitted through:

• Email
• Written message (WhatsApp/SMS)
• Written communication accepted by Ananda Yatra

Telephone cancellations may not be considered valid unless confirmed in writing.

The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which written cancellation is received.

4. Accommodation and Service Provider Charges

Hotels, homestays, resorts, and other service providers may impose their own cancellation charges.

Where applicable, such charges shall be deducted from the refundable amount before processing any refund.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds shall normally be processed within 15 to 30 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

Refunds will be made through the same bank account or payment source from which the original payment was received, wherever possible.

6. Partial Utilization of Services

No refund shall be provided for:

• Unused hotel stays
• Missed meals
• Missed sightseeing
• Early departure from the tour
• Voluntary withdrawal from any part of the package

once the tour has commenced.

7. No Show Policy

If a guest fails to join the tour on the departure date without prior written cancellation, the booking shall be treated as a No Show, and no refund shall be payable.

8. Cancellation by Ananda Yatra

Ananda Yatra reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a tour due to:

• Insufficient participation
• Natural disasters
• Landslides
• Floods
• Government restrictions
• Political disturbances
• Public health emergencies
• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, guests may be offered:

• An alternative departure date, or
• A travel credit for future use, or
• A refund after deducting non-recoverable expenses already incurred on behalf of the guest

The decision of Ananda Yatra regarding the appropriate remedy shall be final.

9. Force Majeure

No refund, compensation, or liability shall arise for cancellations, delays, itinerary changes, or service interruptions caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Ananda Yatra, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Severe weather conditions
• Landslides
• Floods
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Government actions
• Civil unrest
• Strikes
• Transportation disruptions

10. Transfer of Booking

Subject to availability and operational feasibility, Ananda Yatra may permit a traveler to transfer a confirmed booking to another person up to 7 days before departure.

Additional charges imposed by hotels, homestays, or service providers may apply.

Approval of such transfer shall remain solely at the discretion of Ananda Yatra.
